Tour Itinerary

  • Leave Sigiriya and Dambulla

     On arriving at the airport at Sri Lanka, you will be approached by our representatives to take you to Sigiriya. Enroute you will be visiting the Pinnawala elephant orphanage, where you get to see these fantastic animals living in their habitat looked after by caretakers. You will also visit Dambulla one of the most ancient cities of Sri Lanka with numerous tourist spots like the Ibbankatuwa burial site, Rose Quartz Mountain. After reaching Sigiriya, you will check in your hotel followed by heading towards your city tour where you will visit the famous UNESCO site Sigiriya fortress which is of immense historical significance and surrounded by approximately 8 other caves of which few contains interesting statues and cave paintings of ancient times.

    Day One

  • Leave Minneriya National Park

     Early morning after finishing your breakfast you will be checking out of your hotel and heading towards visiting the Minneriya National park which one of the most famous tourist spots of Sigiriya. This place was declared a protected area for preserving the Minneriya tank which is the feeding pool of elephants and other animals in the surrounding forests and also because this place forms one of the most significant places bird areas in Sri Lanka. This place surrounds numerous historical stories as well.

    Day Two

  • Leave Anuradhapura

     After finishing the breakfast, you will be heading towards Anuradhapura which was one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, and hence this place holds immense historical importance, and you will get to visit many interesting sites around this destination. This place possesses many ancient ruins of the age-old Lankan civilization. And along with that, you will visit numerous centuries-old Buddhist shrines as well. This place holds immense historical importance since Sri Lanka was the birthplace of Ramayana’s character Ravana. Along the city tour, you will visit many famous stupas as well.

    Day Three

  • Leave Polonnaruwa

     Explore the city of Polonnaruwa to soak in the essence of Sri Lanka. After visiting Anuradhapura today, you will be heading towards the city of Polonnaruwa which was again one of the principal capitals of Sri Lanka in ancient ages after the decline of Anuradhapura. Here you will visit some of the ancient ruins of Sri Lanka and get to soak in the essence of ancient Sri Lanka even more. You will visit some of the oldest Buddhist monasteries here also the Polonnaruwa Vatadage, the Royale palace group and a lot of other historical places.

    Day Four

  • Leave Kandy

     Your next destination after visiting Polonnaruwa will be Kandy which was the last ancient capital of Sri Lanka after the decline of Polonnaruwa. Kandy is one of the most spectacular cities of Sri Lanka with misty hills, lush greenery of prairie and beautiful rivers. The picturesque landscapes of Kandy will surely win your heart and soul. You will be visiting the famous Temple of Tooth relic and also the Peradeniya botanical gardens where 147 acres of flowers cover and create the most picturesque landscape. Later, visit the Gem Museum. The overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel in Kandy.

    Day Five

  • Leave Nuwara Eliya

     Your next destination after finishing your breakfast will be Nuwara Eliya a little English village consisting of beautiful hills and greenery everywhere. This place is also called the city of lights. In Nuwara Eliya, you will be visiting Lake Gregory and numerous other tourist spots like the Victoria Garden and the tea plantations producing Orange Pekoe tea.

    Day Six

  • Leave Ella

     After finishing the breakfast, you will be heading towards the beautiful city of Ella. You will be visiting the Ravana Ella caves and many more places as well. This city has great historical importance; this is the place where Ramayana’s Ravana brought Sita to hide her. Ella has beautiful meadows, hills, and gardens making it a fantastic picturesque destination.

    Day Seven

  • Leave Bentota

     After going around Ella, you will be heading towards Bentota, the city where you get to see beautiful golden sandy beaches and the blue ocean water hitting the shores. If you are planning to opt for some water sports adventures, then this is the place meant for you only. The beaches provide you with some fantastic views which are enough to make you relax and spend some quality times with your loved ones. After reaching Bentota, you will be checking in your hotel and get the rest of the time all by yourself.

     

    Day Eight

  • Leave Bentota City Tour

     Soak in the essence of Bentota by going around the city. This day is kept for showing you around the city of Bentota. You will have a boat ride in the Madhu River to see some beautiful scenic views and many mangrove forests as well along with visiting the turtle hatchery too.

     

    Day Nine

  • Leave Galle

     Explore the history of Galle This day is meant for you to go around the Galle have a city tour there and check out every well-known tourist spots there like the Dutch Fort, the Dutch Museum, the Maritime Museum in Galle and a lot more.

    Day Ten

  • Leave Colombo

     Your last destination will be Colombo where you will get to see numerous historically enriched sites with the Dutch and Portuguese colonial touches also this place has many shopping malls and good quality stores to shop from, so save your time to go around the city and shop as much as you can. There is a city tour scheduled for today. On this tour, you shall visit many attractions around the city like Twin World Trade Center towers, the Viharamahadevi Park, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Galle Face Green, and National Museum.

     

     

    Day Eleven

  • Leave Air Port

     Your trip ends here. You will check out from the hotel, and then you will be given some time to finish any last moment shopping. Then, you will be heading towards Colombo International Airport to board your flight and head home.
